I loathe Paul Tierney as much as anyone, but the "controversy" around the wrongful awarding of the drop ball after a head injury is some serious blame-shifting from a team who had possession a full two-minutes later and coughed up the ball at the edge of the box to even allow the game-winner.
As many have pointed out, the more incompetent decision on the very same play is ignoring Yates' extremely reckless attempt. I would like to understand any VAR review on that.
